What we do:

It is our philosophy to provide a high standard of individualised person-centred care to help people attain maximum independence. The patients' dignity is maintained and care is provided in a safe environment.

About our services:

Knoll Hospital is an adult in-patient 23 bedded ward. It supports acute hospital services and provides services to meet local health needs. Health care provided includes medical care for the elderly, palliative and end of life care, and rehabilitation.

Medical support is provided by NHS Borders Consultants two sessions per week and Advanced Nurse Practicitoners Monday-Friday.

The hospital does not have a minor injury unit.

There are two GP practices in the knoll hospital; Duns Medical Group and Merse Medical Practice for Gp led care.

How to access our services:

We accept admissions from the Borders General Hospital, other NHS Trusts for local patients and  step up from community.

If you need health advice or treatment for non-life-threatening conditions, please call NHS 24 on 111 and they will signpost you to the right place to get the advice or care that you need.
If it is an emergency, you should call 999 or come to the Emergency Department, where our team will be able provide you with emergency medical care.
