We have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. Unless we have your written consent for another named person to be given your results you are the only person to whom we can give your result.
If you would like us to give your result to another person please complete our authorisation form.
Where a patient is not capable of understanding the results the GP may authorise the receptionist to give that result to the person or persons concerned with the care of that patient.
When you attend for your test you will be told what the tests are for and how long you might expect to wait for the results.
Never assume your results are normal
Always contact the surgery for your results.
For test results please contact reception after 2pm once sufficient time has elapsed. You will be asked to identify yourself and the receptionist will then provide you with the information supplied by the GP. The receptionist is unable to supply any additional information.
