If there are no appointments available and you feel you need to be seen that day, please just explain this to our reception staff. They will ask for some information to pass on to the GPs, who will do their best to help you.
Who Should I See?
The GPs are Dr Howard Kennedy and Dr Kate Wrigley. Dr Kennedy has additional skills in minor surgery and joint injections, while Dr Wrigley has an interest in women's health, including insertion of contraceptive implants and coils.
Mrs Paula Downey, Practice Nurse, works on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and can provide smoking cessation and weight loss support, as well as doing blood tests, ECGs, blood pressure checks, cervical smears and injections for adults and children.
Mrs Elizabeth Kennedy, Pharmacist Prescriber, is available most days for advice and support with medications, and has a special interest in the management of asthma and COPD. Patients can attend Mrs Kennedy for asthma and COPD reviews, but should see a doctor if they are acutely unwell.
