About our service:
Occupational Health is part of the Occupational Health & Safety Service, providing professional, confidential and impartial specialist advice to support employees in the workplace with regard to their health.
The service aim is to ensure that people are in work that is compatible with their health status and that work doesn’t adversely impact on health. Acknowledging the fact that many individuals spend a large part of their adult life in the workplace, the service helps to support the overall objectives of any organisation by focusing on improving the health of staff in their work environment.
Getting people into work, keeping them there and keeping them healthy is of vital importance to reducing health inequalities.
