Entrance to SCBU
Some babies require the care of the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), e.g. if they arrive earlier than expected. SCBU is situated next to Labour Ward and also has a Security Entrance Buzzer System.
If your baby requires admission to SCBU, there is open visiting for parents and siblings. All other visitors must be accompanied with either Mum or Dad and is limited to 2 visitors at a time.
If your visitor feels unwell, e.g. has a cough, cold or an infection, please ask them to postpone their visit as small babies are more vulnerable to infection.
