NHS Inform: 12 Week Weight Management Programme
This 12 week programme has been designed for adults with a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or above, who want to be a healthier weight.

The British Dietetic Association has a variety of information sheets called ‘Food Facts’.  There are food fact sheets from Healthy Eating, Lunch Box Ideas, Food Labelling, Portion Sizes, Food and Mood to more specific information on Arthritis, Menopause, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Autism, Long Covid and Diet.  Please visit the link below to see the full list:

Support with activity

Activity is good for emotional and physical health.  It can be difficult when we are living with a health condition.  The Moving Medicine link below has resources to help:

Live Borders run a health referral programme.  If you are interested in becoming more active you can speak with your health care professional (GP, practice nurse, physio, dietitian, wellbeing advisor or other health care professional) if you think this programme is for you and you would like to be referred

They also have a fitness studio that has video workouts that are free to access and of varying levels.  Please seek medical advice if you are unsure about undertaking any of these workouts.
