There are a number of Acute and Community Service locations throughout the region and this should have been advised, via placement information forms from University to each student, including who and where to report to on day one.

Uniform
All students should adhere to the NHS Borders Uniform Policy in these settings, and wear standard issue university uniform.
Individual placement locations will direct students to local changing facilities/ locker access on day one.
Lunch/ Breaks
It would be advisable to bring your own lunch on day one of placement, and any additional snacks required. Tea & Coffee facilities will be explained during your induction.
Library Access
There is an onsite library within the Borders General Hospital site, which students are able to access. As well as books and journals, the library offers computer and photocopier access. Access information will be available to all students as part of your induction.
