COVID-19 Testing in the Borders

As part of our on-going community testing in the Borders a Covid-19 Mobile Testing Unit (MTU) will be at the Old School Building Car Park in Newtown St Boswells from Sunday to Tuesday (23-25 May) 10:30am – 4pm. 

The unit will provide tests for those who have Covid-19 symptoms (pre-booked symptomatic PCR Test) and also for those who do not have symptoms (walk-in asymptomatic testing via Lateral Flow). 

If you have symptoms please self-isolate immediately and book a PCR test book through the national system by visiting the GOV.UK website or calling 0800 028 2816. Please remember that all members of your household must also self-isolate whilst you await your test results. 

If you don’t have any symptoms and you would like to get a rapid Covid-19 Lateral Flow Test please simply turn up at the MTU.
