Regular self-assessment and review of records management systems will give an authority a clear statement of the extent that its records management practices conform to the Records Management Plan as submitted and agreed by the Keeper
13.1
The Records Manager will regularly review NHS Borders' Records Management Plan and an annual report is required by the Performance and Strategy Board.
13.2
The Public Records (Scotland) Act is a standing item on the NHS Borders Information Governance Committee agenda, which meets quarterly. Progress reports are submitted for each meeting. This Group reports to the Audit Committee which in turn reports to the NHS Borders Board.
13.3
The progress on the Records Management Plan will also be reviewed by NHS Borders Internal Audit Service.
